The Long Beach Public Library now provides self-service checkout at all 12 locations. This easy, efficient service gives patrons the opportunity to bypass lines and check out materials themselves.To use the self-check machine, patrons must have:
- A valid Long Beach Public Library card in good standing
- Library books, magazines, and other items that are eligible to be borrowed. (Some video and sound recordings need to be checked out by Library staff.)
